Marketing to the Affluent
Here’s a recent pic of me with marketing guru, Dan Kennedy, author of the
“No BS Series” on the topics of business, marketing and sales. Dan was gracious enough to pose for a photo with me after he gave his presentation at the Cleveland American Marketing Association meeting. Dan did NOT disappoint!
Here are Dan’s 3 top tips for making yourself “magnetic” to the more affluent customer:
1. Develop and display your expertise. People want to do business with those they perceive to be a trusted, respected resource.
2. Offer a product/service that provides a “done for you” aspect to it. This is very attractive to the well-to-do baby boomers who feel the strain of too much to do and not enough time to do it all.
3. Respect your customer. Treat them like royalty. Royalty creates loyalty!
